Our Story
Born in the mist
of Sreemangal's
legendary hills
Nestled in the rolling hills of Sylhet, Sreemangal is known as the tea capital of Bangladesh — and for good reason. Our teas are grown at altitude, in rich volcanic soil, kissed by mist and sunshine in equal measure.
We work directly with family-run estates that have practiced their craft for generations. No shortcuts. No blending. Just pure, authentic Bangladeshi tea, delivered directly to your door.
Brewing guide
The perfect cup, every time
Great tea is all about the process. Follow these four simple steps and you'll unlock the full character of every Sreemangal Tea blend.
Step 01
Heat the water
Bring fresh water to 90–95°C for black tea, 70–80°C for green tea. Never use boiling water on green tea.
Step 02
Measure your leaves
Use 1 teaspoon (2–3 g) of loose tea per 200 ml of water. Adjust to taste — more leaves, stronger brew.
Step 03
Steep with patience
Black tea: 3–4 minutes. Green tea: 1–2 minutes. Over-steeping causes bitterness — use a timer.
Step 04
Strain & savour
Remove the leaves, breathe in the aroma, and enjoy your cup — pure, warm, and perfectly brewed.
